Ethnic and barter beads necklace with antique finish
Necklace with two rows of black oval pearls decorated with single-color turquoise and brick threads, matte finish and small satin spacer pearls. Inspired by the pearls which constituted the "currency of exchange" between Africa, Europe and the Americas from the colonial era, they were produced in Venice until the mid-20th century.
